Quotes Thursday - The Power of Music

Hi all,

Today will be the last weekly Quotes Thursday series that I've been doing the past few months. I'm not eliminating it from my blog but it's not going to be a weekly thing. I feel that for the past few months I've been getting a better grasp of what I want this blog to be, and to do that I need to be doing more of variety contents and I have a list of new series that I want to interchange it with. I think Quotes Thursday is by far one of the hardest series to write because I really need an inspiration to strike and it's been hard for the past few weeks to kind of find something to write when my mind has been wandering to other series idea that I have in my notes.

Today's Quotes Thursday will be a collection of my favorite music related quotes. I've been playing the piano ever since I was a toddler, I sang in a choir all through out my life, I was in Theater in high school and I minored in Theater Arts in College. Music has just been a part of my daily existence. So here are my favorite quotes:

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
   Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”

    ― William W. Purkey

“Without music, life would be a mistake.”
    ― Friedrich Nietzsche

“Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.”
    ― Victor Hugo

“Music is the universal language of mankind.”
    ― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“Where words leave off, music begins.”
    ― Heinrich Heine

Until next time,

Jessica
