My Take on the #MyCosmoStyle Challenge

Hello!

A few weeks ago I was challenged to create an outfit for a day at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. For my 25th birthday I actually thought of going to Vegas but I ended up staying closer to home and celebrated in NYC. Vegas is clearly still on my bucket list so in a way this challenge has been a really fun pre-trip dress up.

For the challenge I wanted to make sure that my personal style is definitely reflected in the final outfit. When I think about Vegas I think about glamour which I appreciate, but to me the clothes I pack have to be versatile, feminine (with an edge) and comfortable. There's a story to every outfit and this is mine.

Dolce & Gabbana $358, Conley Pants $115, Armitage Avenue Pendant Necklace $29, Alice + Olivia Burman Monochromed Tweed Jacket  $775, Rebecca Minkoff MAC Core Crossbody Bag, Almond $295, Giuseppe Zanotti Combat Boots $1,325, and BCBGMAXAZRIA Rope Chain Bracelet $48
Now that we are transitioning into fall, here in the east coast it's gotten really cold but in Vegas it's still in the mid to high 90s. While browsing through the site I was definitely inspired by the gold accents that are present throughout the hotel. This for me would be a great travel outfit from the Philadelphia to Vegas (vice versa), it's also the perfect attire for brunch at the Wicked Spoon.

I love the brightness and femininity that the Dolce and Gabbana lace top brings but the whole outfit in general (with the Zanotti boots and Alice + Olivia jacket) is still very modern and comfortable. My favorite part about this outfit is the fact that the pieces can easily be paired with other items. For example the lace dress can be paired with a black pencil skirt and heels for dinner at Scarpetta. The pants can be paired up with a more casual top for some shopping or something edgier for let's say a sold out Bruno Mars concert.

Thank you so much to @Vegascom for challenging me to create and share #MyCosmoStyle! I hope this inspires you to explore The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and create your own outfit.

Until next time,
