Sample Sunday- Summer Ready Legs with Schick Hydro Silk Razor

I recently received the Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle to try courtesy of BzzAgent. The funny thing is that I actually owned an older version of this that I ended up tossing out and replacing with just the regular Hydro razor. The Schick Hydro is my all time favorite razor. I used to get a lot of nicks and cuts from shaving but ever since switching to the regular Schick Hydro, I've gotten the closest and smoothest shave that would last about a good several days.

As you can see below, the TrimStyle is relatively larger than the regular Schick Hydro because it has to hold the battery. My understanding is that the TrimStyle is now also waterproof. If you don't need the TrimStyle, I highly recommend the regular Schick Hydro. My only complain with the Schick Hydro line is that the razors are not travel friendly. It doesn't come with a plastic cover so I don't like to travel with them. When I went to NYC I ended up bringing a venus razor that I had laying around and of course I nicked myself. One of the thing that I noticed between the Hydro and the Venus for example is that the Hydro has a really good bend to it so I can get that really close cut without injuries.

Before shaving I like to use an exfoliating product, my current favorite is Yes to Grapefruit Correct and Repair Body Wash exfoliating body wash. I tend to shave at the end of my shower and go to shaving cream is the eos Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream in Pomegranate Raspberry. I would then buff my legs to prevent ingrown hair and then apply a generous amount of body butter/lotion.

As always, thanks for reading!

Until next time,
