Morning Beauty Routine for Combination-Oily Skin
Since I am currently experiencing the hottest day of the summer, what better post to write than my current morning routine. If you've been reading my blog for awhile you know that my go to skin care brand is Clinique. I've talked about many times and it is the best skin care line for my sensitive + combination/oily skin.
1 + 2: Cleanser & Face Brush
Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily Skin Formula $17 with Origins Face Brush $5 (in-store)
I use this soap in the morning and at night and the brush is gentle enough for daily use but since my skin tends to be more sensitive I usually use it every other day.
3: Toner
I am one of those people who actually enjoy using a toner and for me this product helps to even out my skin tone and prep my face for serum + moisturizer.
4: Serum
I've tried a few other serum but I still go back to the Vitamin C from Oz Naturals. Ever since I started using this product my T-Zone feels a lot less oily.
5: Moisturizer
I have both the Gel version for the summer and lotion for the colder months. Both the gel and lotion are super light moisturizers. I prefer moisturizer that has very little drying time since I don't like spending a lot of time doing my makeup in the morning.
6: SPF
In the summer time I tend to stay away from any kind of heavy foundation. But I do have uneven skin tone and redness so usually plain ol' SPF is not enough. My current go to is this BB cream. I have it in Shade 02 which is for very to moderately fair skin tone with golden undertone. So even on my 'no makeup days' I will always have at the very least SPF on my face.
7: Lip
This lip butter is just really awesome for the summer because it's a beautiful coral-y color. Very light and not sticky and the color lasts a long time.
