Etude House BB Cream

A few weeks ago I posted a how to Asian beauty guide and one of the item on the list is the Etude House Etude BB Cream that I picked up in Singapore. This particular product is available from multiple sellers online on EBay or Asian beauty site like sasa.com. I love using BB Cream particularly in the summer months, when it's really hot and humid because it gives me enough coverage and SPF protection for the day but it doesn't feel greasy on my combination oily face.

The weather here in the east coast has been pretty warm and humid around and it's way too hot for me to wear full coverage foundation for the day.

The Etude House BB Cream comes in 4 shades (#1 Light Beige, #2 Natural Beige, #3 Honey Beige, #4 Sand Beige), again as I mentioned on a previous post, because the product is marketed for Asian women, if you have an olive skin or darker, you might have a difficult time finding a match. I have (shade) which is a perfect match for my skin. The actual product comes in a pump bottle you can see below. There's 60 grams worth of product which is a little over 2 ounces.

It has a pump for a non messy application

2 pumps and I am good to go
As you can see below on my 'before' picture- my skin is really red and uneven and super shiny on the cheeks and forehead.

Before
After applying the product with my flat foundation brush you can see that it leaves my skin with an even and healthy glow.
After
I figured I took a pictures a couple of hours later outside with natural lighting. I didn't wear a ton of make up that day (no bronzer, no blush) but I think it made my skin looks pretty flawless.
Natural Light
If you are interested in getting this product, when in doubt go with the lighter shade. You can always warm up your face but if you get a darker one, it's really hard to lighten up the tones. I do have review for the Garnier BB creams that I got recently at ULTA and I must say I definitely prefer this BB over an array of BB available here in the states including my beloved Clinique.

I hope this help some of you make a decision if you are on the fence about joining the BB craze. A lot of companies are making so many version of what a BB cream should be and some of them just don't actually do what actual BB cream is supposed to do. You can find that information on a previous post I had done plus my Clinique BB cream review here.

If you have any other question, request or comment please let me know below!

Until next time,
