E.L.F. St. Lucia Blush and Bronzing Cream Review & Comparison

As it's getting incredibly hot and humid here in the East Coast, I decided to pick up some affordable cream blush. After many months searching for the St. Lucia Cream version I finally found it in stock at Target. E.L.F. St. Lucia Blush and Bronzing powder duo is my go to drugstore product because it is a really good color match for my skin, the bronze does tend to go a little orange on me but since I've gotten a few shades darker, it's not really an issue.

Just from comparing it side by side however, you can see that they are not exact shade match despite sharing a name. Yes, the cream blush and bronzer are going to be more pigmented that the powder version, but I do feel that they don't share the same undertone.

For me personally the cream bronzer shows up a lot more orange than the powder version while the cream blush runs more peachy than it's powder counterpart which is rose-y pink. I think the cream blush is really good, it lasts a long time and if I have a break out or days when my pores just look really big, the cream version is definitely the way to go. The cream bronzer is a little difficult to work with. I tried using E.l.F small stipple and it just does not work. Now I just use my finger to apply a small amount or use my Sephora flat foundation/concealer duo brush.

If  you are looking for an affordable cream blush, this product won't hurt your budget too much at $3 a piece. I am getting the most use out of the cream blush and not necessarily the cream bronzer so I don't know if it's something that I will re-purchase. As always, thanks for reading!
Until next time,
