Sample Sunday LUSH Edition - Ocean Salt & Cupcake Fresh Face Mask
This post apparently didn't get published yesterday as scheduled, my apologies for Sample Sunday being published on a Monday.
I've visited LUSH at least three times last month. Between Mother's day, birthdays, replenishing my own LUSH collection it was definitely a LUSH-filled month. I've picked up my usual butterball bath bomb and I also picked up a Hottie massage bar.

On my last trip I decided to pick up something new that I haven't tried before which is the Dream Time Bath Melt. I was told by the LUSH associate that I can cut it in half because it is that intense and moisturizing or do half bath melt/half bubble bar if I want it more bubbly. So I will give that a try and see if I like it.
The LUSH folks also gave me two samples to bring home and try- Ocean Salt Face & Body Scrub and Cupcake Fresh Face Mask.
Ocean Salt
I didn't know that Ocean Salt is a Face AND Body Scrub so I was really excited to try it. Ocean Salt is probably my favorite LUSH product scent. Something about the scent of Lime and Vodka is just perfect for summer and makes me so happy when I use it. It's gentle enough for me to use about 3 to 4 times a week with no problem and I have a fairly sensitive skin. You don't need a lot of this product at all, I followed the instruction on LUSH website which says about a teaspoon per use. It's probably one of my favorite cleanser now to use. I haven't actually tried it as a body scrub because obviously my sample is quite small and even though I like the idea of using it as a body scrub but it is pricey.
A solid 2/2 success for this LUSH Sample Sunday. As always thanks for reading!
Until next time,

Cupcake Face Mask
I wasn't actually interested in trying another one of their fresh face mask because I wasn't a fan of Love Lettuce and honestly I don't use face mask enough to use a pod up in the recommended 3 weeks time. The LUSH associate convinced me to take this home because this 80+ degree humid weather is just ridiculous and I've been having a couple of break outs. When I took this home I honestly thought how different can this be from my Freeman Chocolate Strawberry Mask which works just fine and boy was I wrong. This concoction is so wonderful on the skin. It is a little tough to apply because it feels like a really thick paste that smells and looks like a brownie batter. I absolutely love it. It made my skin feels really good afterwards, definitely less oily in the T-Zone area. Sometimes when I use mask since I have such an uneven skin that I would kind of dry patches in random places but this just kind of balanced everything.A solid 2/2 success for this LUSH Sample Sunday. As always thanks for reading!
