e.l.f. Disney 'The Enchanted Tale' Collection- Belle Inspired Makeup

As the title of this post states, this is not a Belle costume tutorial but rather an inspired makeup look specifically by Emilie De Ravin's Belle in Once Upon a Time. This post was inspired not only by the two e.l.f. products I recently reviewed but also due to my recent weekend binge marathon of OUAT season 1 & 2. I am using mostly drugstore products with the exception of my moisturizer and foundation. I actually started with the Rimmel 25 hour foundation but found that it's too light for me at the moment so I used the Body Shop Mineral foundation.

Belle's look in OUAT is always very fresh and dewy so very daytime appropriate with a pop of bright lip color in some of her scenes.  I've list and linked all the products I have used to create this look at the end of the post. Let's get started...

The final look

So to start, even before I apply my makeup I decided to go ahead and use a curling iron to create soft waves. Then I start applying products on my face starting with moisturizer, primer, and foundation. For the eyes, I used the smudge pot as the base for my shadows. I applied it all and let it completely dry before applying my shadows. Since I don't have a super fancy camera, the picture may not show the colors that I've used. I tried to stick to a daytime appropriate look and used the pink shade (#3) on my lid, the light neutral pink (#4) to define/highlight my brows,  the gold shadow (#6) on my crease and the brown (#7) on my outer 'v' crease.

In most of the pictures I found of OUAT's Belle, she doesn't have a super defined contour so I did stick to just cream blush and highlighter. I applied a light coat of mascara and liner. If I wasn't so sensitive to fake lashes I would probably would have also applied Ardell Demi Wispies. I finished the look by applying e.l.f. Berry Sorbet (inspired by Belle's Travelling Look) and I know it's a matte formula but I could not resist applying the Belle lip gloss I picked up the last time I was at Disney World. After I finished taking the photos I did apply Rimmel Powder (01) to my T-Zone to control shine as I go on with my day.

I shall conclude this post by saying that I always have a ton of fun playing with makeup but let's not forget as the Narrator said "...not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within." As always, thanks for reading!

Until next time,
