Sample Sunday: Adovia Facial Mask with Dead Sea Mud
A couple of months ago I was given the opportunity to try a couple of products by Adovia. A mud face mask which I am reviewing today and a scrub which will be up next week. The mud mask in particular I was excited to try because it claims to reduce acne, acne scars and blemishes.
August was an extremely hot and humid month in Philadelphia and even though I stayed away from wearing a lot of make up, I had a lot of break-outs and blackheads. I started using the mud mask once a week. The formula is creamy but on the thin side for a mud mask so I would apply a layer all over my face and then a second layer on my trouble spots (T-zone and cheeks). I left it on for about 20 minutes. Once the face mask dried it didn't crack and it didn't made my face feels super tight which is just fine with me. As you can see from the picture below, the mask is more of a greenish-gray.

After the using this mask, I could see an immediate 'glow', my face felt a tighter and there was a noticeable reduction of blackheads and large pores. I don't think I have used it long enough to see a change on scars, but with my daily cleansing routine and using this mask once a week, I have seen less breakouts which is great.
The product is unscented and does not contain any fragrance for anyone who has a sensitive skin like mine. You can get the face mask along with other Adovia products on Amazon.
