September Non-Fiction TBR
As I'm writing this I've realized that it's a unplanned Non-Fiction month. I don't usually read this much non-fiction in row so this should be interesting.
The first book I am reading is What Color is Your Parachute 2017? by Richard N. Bolles. I remember reading an older version of this back in High School and it's always on my TBR recommendation when I work with High School and College students. I recommended it over the summer for my interns so I just wanted to read the updated version to see if it's what I remembered. I will probably post a review on this book when I'm done.
I am also reading 10% Happier by Dan Harris who is an anchor on ABC News. He famously had a panic attack on-air a few years ago and went on this self discovery about meditation and self-care. I have a love/hate relationship with meditating so I figured I'd give the book a go. If you are interested in his story but don't want to read the book, you can check out his Google Talk presentation on this topic.
The third book is Grace & Style by YouTube personality Grace Helbig. I'm actually not a subscriber but I saw this book at the library and thought it was something light-hearted and fun. I also picked up another book from Barnes and Noble that's kind of similar but I don't know if I'll actually get around to reading it this month but it's called Adulting: How to Become a Grown-up in 468 Easy(ish) Steps by Kelly Williams Brown.
If you have any book recommendation please post them below. I'm going on a couple of trips soon and I always enjoy bringing a good book to read. As always, thanks for reading!
Until next time,
