Center City Philadelphia Spring Haul: L'OCCITANE, ULTA, Origins & Clinique
Hello!
First of all, I would like to apologize for being missing this past week. Spring allergies is hitting me with a vengeance. It's been an interesting week trying to adjust and remember to take my allergy medications but boy, I can't wait till Summer.
I went on a mini spring shopping spree a couple of weeks ago at the Center City shopping district in Philadelphia. I love this area so much, it's a lot of fun to just walk up and down the blocks because not only are there amazing shops and upscale boutiques but also adorable consignment shops and restaurants/cafes.
First stop was- L'OCCITANE Boutique - Walnut Street
1606 Walnut Street
Philadelphia, PA
19103
I had received a last minute invite for 3 L'OCCITANE lotions mini for $3 through Facebook to celebrate their 30th Year Anniversary. When I got to the store, I showed them my Facebook invite and while I was waiting I decided to also pick up the travel size shea butter hand cream (30ml).
Inside the bag, they also included a cute little card for the receipt with two samples from their 'divine' line.
The three minis include the hand cream in Shea Butter, Almond and Cherry Blossom inside the adorable pouch.
The second shop I visited was - ULTA Center City
1619 Walnut Street
Philadelphia, PA
19103
I picked up a few things from ULTA because I had ULTA reward points that I decided to redeem.
What I picked up (from left to right):
- Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Hair Cream
- Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra Cleansing Mud Mask
(I had received this as a sample with the face wipes and decided to get the full size) - Garnier Fructis Leave in Conditioner
- Garnier BB for Even Tone
- Garnier BB for Even Tone + Oil Control
I think I will be picking up the Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Sea Salt spray at some point soon for the summer. I was really impressed with the hair cream and I want to see how the two products work together. The Deep Down Detox Mud Mask is amazing, it feels like I'm at a spa every time I use it. And you all know I love my Garnier products, this is my third bottle of the leave in conditioner, it leaves my hair so smooth and shiny.
Now the BBs were interesting because not only is the BB for oily skin more expensive, it was also smaller. So I don't know how I feel about that, but I will give these a try and let you know what I think of them.

The final stop- Macy's Center City
1300 Market Street
Philadelphia, PA

My final stop was the Macy's and I walked in and immediately had a massive allergy attack. They were having a flower show of some kind and it was beautiful but made me very red and blotchy.
I stopped by the Origins counter to pick up a new face brush. I have one at home but it's getting a bit old so I want to replace it with a new one. They were out of stock for such a long time so I was very happy to find one and in such a fun color. I also picked up their Ginger Rush body cream and I had a Facebook voucher to try out their Vita Zing and the lady at the counter threw in the Modern Friction scrub for me to try.
My final, final stop was the Clinique Counter. They are having Spring gift with a $27 purchase. I got the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and I also picked up the Chubby Stick Intense in Heftiest Hibiscus.
The gift includes:
- Large and small cosmetics bag
- Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (Pink container)
