Mini e.l.f. Haul & Review

If you've been reading my blog you know that e.l.f. is one of my favorite brands.e.l.f. for the most part has great value and products that do last and compete with their higher end counterpart. None of the products that I'm reviewing are from their new collection although I do have my eyes set on some of their new brushes. These are just really solid, everyday products that I've find myself reaching a lot for the past few weeks.

Essentials Slant Tweezer
Emily Noel who is one of my go-to YouTuber for all things e.l.f. talked about this slant tweezer from the essential line which is a dollar and she compared it to the Tweezerman. I still find my Tweezerman a little more comfortable to hold and when I'm trying to grab super fine brows the Tweezerman just works slightly better. But when I'm travelling I am leaving my beloved $23 tweezer at home and bringing in the just-as-good $1 e.l.f. slant tweezer.

Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder (FIJI - Matte)
The second thing that I've been loving is the Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in Fiji which is the only matte duo powder.. The St. Lucia powder was my favorite for the past few years but I was really looking for a matte bronzer this past summer. I like the cream version of St. Lucia but I just found the bronzer to be a bit too dark and when I'm in a rush I just don't have to spend time blending it.  If you are interested I did a comparison post with swatches of both St. Lucia powder & cream version.

This duo is beautiful for fair skin tone. Over the summer as I got tanner I did find the shade a tad too light at some point but now that I'm back to my Fall & Winter shade it's just beautiful. The Fiji bronzer and blush are really pigmented and goes on really smooth and beautiful.

Lock On Liner and Brow Cream (Medium Brown)
I've had a very interesting journey with my brows. About 3 years ago I got it waxed  last minute at my regular salon not realizing they had change owner and had my brows completely uneven. If you actually go back to my posts 3 years ago you will not find that many pictures of my face for that reason. It's taken me a long time to get brows to where I feel like I don't need to pile on so much product to make it look presentable. For a long time I use the N.Y.C. brow duo but lately I found this cream and the e.l.f essential Instant Lift Brow Pencil in as the perfect combination.

This is my second Lock On Liner & Brow Cream I got from e.l.f and I find that cream products like this and the cream/gel eyeliner tend to dry out relatively quicker so having found a shade that works is definitely a money saver.

Studio Crease Brush
The final product is the Studio Line Crease Brush which is $3. The reason why I got this is because e.l.f changed their essential crease brush. I purchased the essential crease brush 2 1/2 years ago and at the beginning of this year I bought a second one just because sometimes I'm too lazy to clean my brushes (and it's $1). It is not the same brush. I've bought it at the studio store and I even brought my 2nd brush in to compare and they all look the same and not like the original. It makes me so sad because it was my favorite blending brush.

As you can see the 2nd crease brush is much shorter than the original. The bristles are also more compact and there's not that much give so it doesn't provide a nice blending action. The studio brush is great, it's the right size for and very fluffy. I do have to note that if you can get the wet n' wild crease brush (the white handle with white/pink bristles) it's only 99 cents.

Let me know below if there's an e.l.f. product you want me to review or if you have an e.l.f. favorite I just have to try.

Until next time,
