Sample Sunday- Farmacy Honey Potion
Hello,
Today's sample sunday comes from Farmacy Beauty which is a pretty popular natural & cruelty free skin care brand that's available at Sephora. I had received a sachet of their Honey Potion hydration mask and I figured it was time to give it a try.
I'm not usually a fan of leave-on/wash off masks just because once I wash my face all I want to do is go to the next step of my routine. On my last visit to Sephora the associate that was helping me talked about how this mask and the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer (which is next week's sample) were one of the most sought after products during the sale.
The mask itself is quiet thick but changes to almost like a cleansing balm feel. It has a mild scent that's not too overpowering. It does heat up as you massage it into your skin and turns into this rich creamy white balm. The instruction says to use a generous amount (I used the up the whole sachet which was definitely too much for one use) and massaged it into the skin for 1-2 minutes, leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off and pat dry.
The Sephora associate did tell me she likes to massage it once more before rinsing it off but beware that once you start massaging it and moving the product around it heats up again.
I have pretty sensitive skin and this didn't break me out (my chin area reacts really quickly to allergens and it was fine) and I didn't have any issue with the heat. It does feel nice and it's not as sticky as I thought it was going to be. My skin felt a slightly plumper especially around my cheeck bones and forehead. I followed it up with my Klairs Vitamin C serum & LXMI Crème du Nil Pore-Refining Moisture Veil.
You can check out Farmacy on their website or Sephora. The full size is 4.1oz and is listed for $46. Both Farmacy & Sephora also carries The Mighties kit which contains 0.5 oz of the Honey Potion along with 3 other Farmacy products for $45.
Probably not just because I don't use these types of masks often and I don't know how long I would enjoy using a heat up mask. It's quiet expensive and my all-time favorite leave-on mask- the SkinFood Black Sugar Exfoliating Wash Off Mask is only $10 but let me know if I should change my ways and what kind of samples you'd like to see next. As always, thanks for reading!
Until next time,
Jessica
Will I get a full size?
